A group of engineers in Australia developed a smart fabric made of artificial muscles. It was stated that the fabrics in question were programmable. As Nation Thailand reports, engineers have produced a smart fabric that is believed to shed light on the future of soft robots and wearable exoskeletons. The team shared images of technology involving artificial muscles working on fabrics in the form of butterflies and flowers. Here, fabrics in the form of flowers and butterflies are seen to be flexible and in motion. The group leader of the study, Thanh Nho Do, stated that this technology could be used in various costumes such as "Iron Man or Spiderman" in the future. Do stated that the materials used are very flexible and very compatible with the human body. It was shared that smart fabrics are programmable and created by knitting with artificial muscle fibers.
