NASA is sending a toy sheep to the Moon

Preparations continue for the Artemis program, where NASA will send humans to the Moon again after 53 years. NASA has announced that it will use the animated character Shaun the Sheep as a test flight dummy on the rocket Artemis 1, which will be launched for testing on August 29.   The European Space Agency has announced that it will begin its unmanned mission later this year. While Shaun the Sheep isn't a live character, he will technically be the first European Space Agency astronaut to go to the Moon on the Artemis mission. Since the Artemis 1 mission will be carried out unmanned, choosing an animation character allows the project to attract more attention. The flight dummy chosen by NASA will be aboard the Orion spacecraft, which will be launched to the Moon. If everything is normal and there is no problem, the capsule will return to Earth after spending 39 to 42 days in space.

NASA to collect ice samples from the Moon

He accelerated his work for Artemis, which he planned for a manned trip to the Moon. Important areas to visit are marked. Sarah Noble, head of lunar science in NASA's Planetary Science Division, explained at a press conference yesterday that the regions had not been explored before. The aim of the historical project, which is expected to take place in 2025, is to collect lots of ice samples from the Moon.   The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) aims to make a manned flight to the Moon again after a long time. The institution determined its first three objectives within the scope of its mission plan. If the programs called Artemis 1, 2 and 3 can be realized, the following plans are quite exciting. In this context, NASA determined the destinations on the Moon. NASA aims to send astronauts to the Moon in 2025 with Artemis. The agency, which has planned the entire program in detail, has now announced the locations to go on the Moon. Marking 13 regions, NASA
